August Sanders

August is a fourth-year Neuroscience student at the University of Oregon. Her research interests include the effects of the demographics of childhood communities on the mental health of LGBTQIA+ members, as well as how to initiate and prolong the lucid state of people with Alzheimer’s. Outside of school and research, August loves to spend time outdoors with her friends and family, travel to new places, and go horseback riding.
